MTR Family Law merges with Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin, creating an 11-person family law practice group within the downtown-based firm.
The agreement, which will take effect on January 1, will complement GSRM’s team of 33 practicing lawyers covering the areas of probate and estate planning, real estate and banking, insolvency, employment, business, litigation, mediation, alcoholic beverages and hospitality as well as family law. MTR’s six lawyers will form the GSMR Family Law Practice Group.
The two local businesses have partnered up often in the past, said Phil Welty and Marlene Moses, members of GSRM and MTR’s management, at the To post, referring clients to each other. The merger is a natural step in this growing relationship, keeping the business within the company as a whole and expanding the possibilities for collaboration between other practice groups.
âWe feel privileged to combine two long-standing Nashville-based law firms that share similar values, commitment to customer service and investment in the Nashville community. Our combined resources and experience will greatly benefit our clients. MTR Family Law has an excellent reputation. It’s a victory for all, âWelty said in a press release.
The firms will operate from their two current locations: GSRM Law Downtown at The Pinnacle at Symphony Place and GSRM Law West at 23rd Avenue North.
