Kyndi appoints John Reuter as chief revenue officer

“John’s proven track record as an enterprise software leader will help our customers better understand and adopt new technologies so they can have business impact,” said Ryan Welsh. “His extensive experience and success in the discipline of sales will help accelerate our growth and enable more organizations to leverage our natural language-based solutions to stay competitive.”

Prior to Kyndi, John was chief revenue officer at Landing AI, where he was responsible for helping manufacturing and retail companies kick-start their AI journey in computer vision and competitive intelligence. Previously, he worked at Bloom Energy for 13 years as Vice President of Sales, where he evangelized the Bloom Energy story to Fortune 100 organizations. Prior to joining Bloom, John was Director of Sales for Cisco Systems and Foundry Networks. John has also held semiconductor sales positions at IBM, Cypress Semiconductor and other companies. John holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the US Naval Academy and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from John Hopkins. He was a commissioned officer in United States Navy and served aboard attack submarines. John also completed his duties with the Royal Navy Submarine Force in the UK.

Unlike other natural language based solutions difficult and expensive to implement on company-specific data, Kyndi’s end-to-end offerings enable customers to leverage best-in-class “natural language search as a service”, enabling organizations to immediately realize tangible business values from their investment in the AI. With a focus on empowering business lines and delivering business value, Kyndi has seen tremendous market traction in recent years.

Kyndi’s natural language search solution is the first end-to-end offering designed to optimize the relevance and speed of finding answers in unstructured textual data. Due to limited NLP expertise and the cost of tuning and deploying state-of-the-art language models, organizations of all sizes often overlook natural language search as a true business enabler.

“Kyndi has proven that customers derive significant business value from their investments in natural language search, from simplifying website content discovery to boosting engagement and conversion, to enabling for employees to serve themselves and find the actionable insights that drive productivity and operational efficiency,” Reuters said. “I’m thrilled to join such an innovative company and look forward to helping organizations take full advantage of AI.”
