Mr. Johnson brings decades of quality and manufacturing experience as an executive in the automotive industry and has helped transform the operations and facilities of Ford Motor Company (“Ford”) through data, software and innovative technologies.

Mr. Johnson’s most recent role was as chief manufacturing officer and director of labor affairs at Ford, a global auto manufacturing company with 83 sites in 21 countries, around 190,000 employees and more than $125 billion. of annual income. In this role, he oversaw global operations, engineering support and materials planning for the 83 stamping, assembly and powertrain plants located around the world, led an organization employing 120,000 people and managed an annual budget of $15 billion. Prior to this role, Mr. Johnson was vice president of manufacturing for North America, Asia-Pacific and Africa at Ford.

By automating the inspection process for glossy surfaced parts, Helmee enables 95% to 99.97% defect detection, marking a vast improvement over current manual inspection processes, with defect detection performance varying between 65% and 90%.
