BKD merges with Ledgeview Partners

BKD CPAs & Advisors, a top 20 firm based in Springfield, Missouri, is adding Ledgeview Partners, a marketing and customer relationship management consulting firm in Appleton, Wisconsin, effective March 1.

The deal is the latest in a series of mergers for BKD. Just last week, the company announced a merger with Bankers Assurance, a regulatory compliance firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. Earlier this month, it announced a mega-merger with another Top 20 company, Dixon Hughes Goodman, which is expected to create a combined $1.4 billion business when the transaction closes in the second quarter of the year. Financial terms of the deal with Ledgeview were not disclosed. BKD’s revenue for fiscal 2021 was $758.12 million. The firm has more than 3,000 employees, including approximately 310 partners and directors. Ledgeview has over 40 professionals who will join the BKD Technologies team.

Ledgeview has been in business since 2007. The consulting firm assists clients with their sales, marketing and service operations and specializes in the use of customer relationship management technology. It is a partner of both Microsoft and Salesforce. BKD plans to use Ledgeview’s expertise in CRM systems to help customers with their marketing automation, field service, sales and marketing.

“We were initially attracted to Ledgeview because of their outstanding reputation for successful CRM implementations, which is a valuable strategic addition to our technology capabilities,” BKD CEO Tom Watson said in a statement Monday. “But we’re also impressed with their efforts to truly earn trusted advisor status with their clients by providing a seamless suite of services designed to help their clients succeed.”

Ledgeview team members will remain at their current offices in Appleton, Wisconsin, which will become BKD’s 42nd and northernmost office, again expanding the company’s geographic reach. BKD is present in 19 states.

“We are beyond excited to join the combined team of BKD and DHG,” Lisa Benson, director and CEO of Ledgeview Partners, said in a statement. , which parallels ours, which sealed the deal. From our early interactions with executives to individual Ledgeview employee touchpoints that made everyone feel like they were already part of the family, we were convinced this was the perfect fit.

Last April, it acquired Strategic Sourcing Results, a Chicago-based healthcare supply chain consulting firm. Last March, BKD acquired another consulting company, Hamernikan Indianapolis-based firm specializing in corporate restructuring and advisory services.
