Auburn University’s Supply Chain Management Graduate Program at Harbert College of Business is ranked 14e in the country in its first year of operation by Gartner Inc., a research and consulting firm that evaluates supply chain management programs in higher education.
Gartner’s announcement follows its June report ranking Auburn’s undergraduate supply chain management program 4th nationally.
“The latest ranking from Gartner is the latest in a series of national accolades for Auburn’s newly created supply chain management department. We are very proud of the many faculty and staff who have worked so hard to make this department what it is today,” said Auburn’s Glenn Richey, Harbert Eminent Scholar and Department Chair.

The Harbert College of Business established its Supply Chain Management Department in 2020 to further expand the resources of its long-running successful Supply Chain Management program. In 2021, the department created its graduate program in supply chain management, which quickly became one of the best programs in the country.
“These recent rankings are a testament to the significant efforts that Harbert College of Business supply chain management faculty and staff have invested in providing students with more opportunities for quality internships, participation in cases, better industry engagement, conference trips and job fairs. , to name a few,” Richey said.
