In its statement, Murdaugh’s law firm also addressed the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) criminal investigation into the February 2018 death of Gloria Satterfield, a housekeeper from the Murdaugh family, and the management of their estates.
Satterfield died in 2018 in what has been described as a “trip and fall accident” at the Murdaugh’s home, CNN previously reported.
